At 4.22 I wake up in fright
Been dreaming about work all through the night.
Haven't given life that much thought
My ideas and beliefs were as good as shop bought.
I gave up on God many years ago
And naively accepted to go with the flow.
Letting the world rule how I think and behave
So at 4.22 I wake up as a slave.
